Class Of 2023 Wide Receivers Illinois Class Grade: B+
This 2023 Class has got some big-time playmakers that can stretch the coverages but again this year doesn't really have a lot in middle level talent. Key thing for this Class of WRs is their pure raw potential not a lot of polished WRs in this 2023 class which is scary. Any top-notch College WR coach would love to have one of these recruits to mold as a offensive weapon. Sacred Heart Griffin trio is the scariest in the state of Illinois no doubt about it. Never in my years have seen such an array of WR weapons on this Cyclone squad. Simeon always will have a top notch crew ready to destroy secondaries, and everyone will talk about Malik but don't forget about Cameron Ashley.. Mascoutah is the huge surprise with time playmakers on that passing attack and one of the biggest WRs in Illinois in Allen Middleton.
2 Can't Miss Illinois WRs From 2023 Are:
Malik Elzy Simeon - Enough said about this ultimate weapon on the field. Makes WRs around him better and you better have speed to cover him because if you don't it's going to be a long day.
Allen Middleton Mascoutah- Allen is one of the best WRs in Illinois and one of the best in the Midwest. If he lived in the Chicagoland area we would be talking about him more and that is the truth.
2 Most Slept On WRs From 2023 Are:
Kaiden Miller Grayslake Central- Player a lot of people don't know about but should. Had made numerous plays for the Rams
Keshon Singleton Sacred Heart Griffin- Keshon still is not getting the respect that he deserves. He runs clean and crisp routes and fights for the ball... (JUST GOT AN OFFER FROM NIU A DAY BEFORE THE ARTICLE WAS PUBLISHED)

Class Of 2023 Tight Ends Illinois Class Grade: B+
So this Class got to say has been the better run blocking Tight End classes in years. Deakon Tonielli is a pure athletic splendor in the State of Illinois and must need to know recruit. Garrett Taylor of Salt Fork is one of the big time tight ends that you need to know about it from a small school.
4 For Sure Illinois Tight End Recruits
Jack Parker Loyola Academy - Loyola Academy has become the top high school for making tight ends. Top TE in the Midwest not just in Illinois
Pierce Walsh Benet - TE/WR hybrid that fits the multiple offenses that causes havoc against defenses.
Nate Branch Palatine- Tough S.O.B that finds ways to get the ball and hell of a 3rd down playmaker.
Jake Davies Yorkville - Impressed me last summer and looks to be late spring riser going into the summer.
2 Tight Ends You Are Sleeping On
Garrett Taylor Salt Fork- Small school stud that deserves more looks and you need to know about people. Oh, and did I forget to mention a multiple sport star.
Shabiu Mohammed Plainfield North- Stop sleeping on Shabiu, he is the real deal people. KNOWS HOW TO LAY A BLOCK!!!

Class Of 2023 Running Backs Illinois Class Grade: C-
Too many one hit wonder recruits on this Class of 2023. Very tough finding a viable Class of 2023 RBrecruit watchlist. Again, a lot of hybrid spread running backs who look better at the WR spot than the RB spot. Again, great athleticism in the back field but not that much of taking the first hit off a defender. Thats what really killed this Class of 2023, but we still got some studs in this class. Joshua Robinson is the real deal from Montini along with stat maker Marquis Palmer from East St. Louis. Stop sleeping on Plainfield South Brian Stanton who is absolute beast of a running back and a player you need to know about.
3 For Sure Runnings Back Recruits:
Joshua Robinson Montini - Multi purpose back that lets blocks finish and makes his play in the gap
Marquis Palmer East St. Louis- Speed, and more speed could kill you many ways
Joey Pope Glenbard West- Seen a lot of Joey due to me living in the DuPage area- HE IS THE REAL DEAL
2 Runnings Backs You Shouldn't Sleep On:
Andre Crews Simeon- I'm sick and tired of talking about how good this recruit is. SHOW HIM THE RESPECT HE DESERVES
Malik Gray ICCP- Small school star that comes from a star lineage of Knight's running backs.

So, I love this Class of 2023 Athletes and they are more impressive than Class of 2022. So many talented athletes that fit different spots on the field. Kaden Feagin, Graham Smith, Joshua Franklin, Antwon Hayden are the top dog athletes that you need to know about. Love the fact that we have a lot of size on this Class that college coaches love. Kanye Tyler and Eddie Vrydolak are two of my top dog sleeper athletes that you need to know about.
TOP ATHLETE RECRUITS:
Cole Dutkovich Neuqua Valley - Kid is a pure gamer that you need to know about. He is that prototype football player that any college coach loves and you need to respect.
Kaden Feagin ALAH- Kid has been top national recruit since his freshmen year but people keep forgetting about him because he goes to a small school.
Kanye Tyler Pekin- Another rural Illinois star that deserves the respect that he has not gotten. Killing it for the Pekin Dragons and a kid that will explode soon.
2 Recruits Not To Sleep On -
Eddie Vrydolak St. Rita - Tough SOB recruit you need to know about, he just does everything right. Great technique and is a utility type of player that will play anything to help his team win.
Ernest Davis Chicago Academy- Can play anything and does it so smoothy... I call the guy Mr. Silk because the kid just makes it look so easy.
