Class Of 2023 Illinois QBs Grade: C+

So, we had a little a bit of a letdown with the Class of 2022 QBs and their projected growth. This Class of 2023 I believe has more potential than Class of 2022 but it is still a wait and see as we get into the spring going into summer. The biggest star out of this Illinois class is Naperville North QB Aidan Gray who just committed to Northwestern. Aidan is the complete package with his size, mobility, and arm. He blew up at the end of the 2021 season and took one of the largest jumps in his grades into the Top 5% percentile. Jake Stearney out of Loyola Academy is my next big QB you have to keep an eye on to emerge, and I just love the way he plays with his frame. Stearney is the reason why the Chicago Catholic League should be scared this upcoming season and why there will be a lot of college coaches at his games. We actually have more old school Run & Shoot style QBs in this Class than last Class 2022 which was more of Spread hybrid. My 2 favorite QBS in the Class are Mahomet-Seymour Wyatt Bohm and Jacksonville Elijah Owens. Wyatt reminds me of that old school QB that can hit the hot route receiver under pressure. Elijah Owens is a kid we all need to be talking about more who will is killing it in the CS8 not only with his arm but also his mobility. Again, this Class has more questions than answers going into the spring than the Class of 2022. Really think we will get a clearer picture by the state of Fall in 2022.

2 QBs Out Of The Class Of 2023 That Are Putting Big Numbers But Still Slept On

Ty Lott SHG - Great mobility and let's not forget the nice touch on the ball. Exploded onto the scene with his spin on the offense last Fall. If you sleep on this kid, he will punish you with his talent.

Tyler Fikis Hampshire - He has been a dynamic playmaking QB since the Spring of 2021. Has killed the Fox Valley conference with his big plays and never give up attitude.

2 2023 QBs That Are Ready To Explode In Recruiting This Spring -

Evan Noelle Marion - More needs to be said about this Southern Illinois QB. He has a chance to be huge in the spring going into the summer. Big throw ability and great on his reads this Southern Illinois gunslinger is a name you must watch.

Aiden Cyr Hoffman Estates - Aiden has blown up on the field last fall and but up big dog numbers. This kid just makes pure plays and finds the endzone. The fact that Aiden is still so raw is what makes him special in college coach's eyes with his potential growth.
