Meet York WR Charlie Specht Class Of 2023 - Name You Must Know

So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for lllinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Charlie Specht how was your 2019 season? Awesome! The season started off slowly, but myself and the entire team improved as the year went on. As a team, we finished off winning our last 4 games, and I managed to have my biggest game against Glenbard West with over 110 yards towards the end of the year. What does football mean to you? Everything. Whether it’s watching it or playing it, footballs had the biggest role in my life since I could walk. There’s nothing I enjoy more than going out with the guys and just having fun and competing. What should college coaches know about you? That I will give you 110% every snap on and off the field. Whether that’s blocking, catching a screen or a 40 yard 9 route, there’s no difference, and it’s the same mentality in the classroom. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? Becoming more of a route technician 100% and adding more routes to my route tree. Focusing on not becoming a one dimensional WR. How has your offseason been so far? Definitely the most productive off-season I’ve had. Taking strides in speed, strength, and overall understanding of the game, and hopefully I’ll be able to showcase that this spring. What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season? Mainly helping my team win games, but also applying what I’ve been working on all off-season onto the field. I want to be able to be a guy that can take the top off of a defense, but also be a threat on short routes after the catch.
