Christian McKinney Homewood Flossmoor Linebacker 6'1 205 Class Of 2023

Christian McKinney how was your 2019 season? My 2019 season was the most fun I’ve ever had, I got to experience every level of high school football at my school from the freshman squad all they way up to varsity in one season, it helped me see the game differently and improve as a player. What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know that I truly love the game of football, and I will bring a hard working attitude towards every rep and drill I do to influence those around me and make the team better as a whole. What does football mean to you? The game of football is my life, Ive been playing since I was 8 and I play not just for me, but to make my family proud. It also brings out the competitive side of me, when I go to a camp or showcase or even at practice, I want to be the best athlete in attendance. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I use my speed and arm length to my advantage often, but I think what separates me from other linebackers is the amount of film I watch before a game to really understand how the other teams offense will flow. What do you like about playing linebacker? What I love most about playing linebacker is the sense of leadership you have to have on the defense and during the game, you really have to put your football IQ to use.
