Cannon Sternitzky Defensive End Woodstock Class of 2021 6'5 205
Cannon Sternitzky how was your 2019 season? My 2019 season didn’t go exactly as I expected it to. We ended up 2-7 but 3 of our losses were only determined by a total of 14 points which gives me great hope for this next season. Personally I thought I played pretty well compared to my sophomore year. I believe a big reason for that is because I was used to the speed of varsity when other juniors and seniors weren’t for the most part. I could have done better in certain situations and I have been training to get better at those situations I lacked on. What schools have you talked to so far? So far I have talked to Concordia university Wisconsin, UW-Oshkosh, Illinois Wesleyan, and North Park University. What should college coaches know about you? I want college coaches to know that I am a dedicated athlete in football, track, and weightlifting. I am very coachable and will take criticism constructively. I strive to be a leader of the team and athletes I surround and push them to be the best as well as myself. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I would say my strongest traits on the football field would be both my speed and my football IQ from playing the game for 13 years. What goals do you have for yourself this season? My first goal for this upcoming season is to be an all conference selection. Another goal I am going to strive for this year is to help lead my team to a positive record and a playoff appearance for the first time since 2009.
