Matthew Crider Wheaton Warrenville South Athlete Class of 2024 6'0 185
Matthew Crider how was your sophomore season? I think it went great, I got to experience the varsity level where I got to learn and improve a lot on the offensive side. As a team I think we had a great year getting better and better each week which will help us improve for next season. What does football mean to you? It means a lot to me, its always been my favorite sport and it has taught me many lessons. You always have to work together with all 11 guys on the field to reach your goals. What should college coaches know about you? I’m a hard worker and that I’m very competitive, I also will always listen and do what is asked and I try to help my teammates become better players. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I think knowledge is my strongest. I’ve been playing football for most of my life and that taught me how to read defenses and the plays. My speed and strength also helps me greatly on the field to cutback and break tackles. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I’ve been working on my speed and strength a lot this offseason. I’m trying to get much faster for next season to become a much better running back.
