Alec Mihelic how was your junior season? Overall, it was the best season I’ve been a part of. I had to take a slight step back due to injury, but I used it in a positive way and learned the little things in my positions that matter. The senior leaders we had gave me an even better mindset of the game. My junior season was definitely the one that has me more prepared and amped for my senior season. What should college coaches know about you? That’s I’m always willing to learn. Gaining football IQ is always stressed to us every day. The more you learn and understand this game, the more you’ll grow. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I believe my strongest trait is being able to handle pressure. I’m always willing to change and learn a new position if it’s believed to make our teams potential that much stronger. As well in tight games. I love having the feel of needing to give it all on the line. What part of your game do you plan on working on in the offseason? First thing I wanna do, which is in the process now, is to get the team into the family aspect. Once that clicks early into off-season, I believe everyone starts growing. As a incoming senior leader you’ll learn to understand it is a team game, but you also need the trust within to start making big positive jumps. How does Washington look for the upcoming season? We are looking great. It is going to be a young team, but everyone knows what’s on the line. I’m personally excited to see what we can do this season. Who on Washington should I be on the lookout for in the upcoming season? Someone to be on the lookout for is Kainon Mcqueary. He is young one but is a standout in every position he’s put in. He played varsity as a sophomore. Last season he put up 25 touchdowns in his JV season so I believe him and I as a combo at backs will be a killer.
