Madixx Morris how was your season? I think our season as a team was very good this year. We didn’t quite get what we wanted in the end and fell short but that just keeps us juniors pushing forward to next year. My season I think was just a slight preview of what I am capable of going as an athlete. Toward the end of the season, I was used more and it showed many people that I as well as other receivers on our team can make plays. I think personally that I am capable of doing big things and next year I will need to do more to prove it to many . What does football mean to you? Football honestly means the world to me. I have been playing organized football since I was five and words can’t describe the feelings I have for the game What should college coaches know about you? I think college coaches should know that I am an athlete that isn’t afraid to put my body out there for my team. I believe that i am a huge asset to SHG by my attitude and the way that I am around the team. They should know that this year was only a slight glimpse of my abilities and I still have a long road ahead of me What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? i think my strongest asset is route running and being able to create space off of defenders. I also think being able to see the field well and knowing where defenders are going to be before it happens What is your favorite route to run? Honestly, I think it has to be smoosh it’s a route we put in against Rochester in the semifinals and I run a fake corner post What part of your game do you plan on working on in the offseason? Mostly break away speed and getting faster and just knowing the game better, being able to read all coverages based off of where they lineup, knowing the game is a huge part of football What goals do you have for yourself next season? Next Season I want to win a State Championship and be able to enjoy that moment with the boys! I also want to shoot for 1,000 receiving yards and put myself over the top as an athlete through the SHG program.
