Alex Goworowski St. Patrick LB/ATH Class of 2022 6'3 205
Alex Goworowski how is your season going for you so far?
I think this season is going great. The team is 4-2 which is pretty good, but I obviously wanted to be 6-0. For me personally, I believe I am having my best year yet. I feel super quick and evasive. On defense I’m getting to the quarterback and racking up sacks as well as tackles for loss. On offense, I’m running hard and I have 9 touchdowns. I feel great.
What does football mean to you?
Football is a lot more than a game to me. Everyday getting to go out and play is a dream come true. I look forward to practicing every day with my brothers and playing in the game with them. Being on the field makes any trouble wash away and I can just focus on playing.
What schools have you talked to so far?
I’ve been talking to mostly Ivy League schools like Dartmouth, Yale, Brown, and Columbia. I’ve also talked to some Pioneer League schools like Butler, St. Thomas, Drake, and Dayton. Finally, I’ve talked to a bunch of D2 and D3 schools.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
I think my strongest trait is my endurance. As a two way player, I get almost no plays off. However, I don’t let myself get tired and break down. While many players would get worse as the game goes on, I believe I get better. My constant hustle throughout the whole game wears down the other team and allows me to take over.
What do you like about playing on defense?
I love rushing the passer on defense. There is no greater feeling than hitting the QB and getting a sack.
