Tyce Albritton Dee-Mack Athlete Class Of 2024 6'0 175
Tyce Albritton how was your junior season? Last year’s season was definitely a good one. We were still a young team that had our ups and downs but that’s what’s going to make our team better for the next season. At the end of the season I earned a spot on an All-Conference Team and All-Area Team. I was able to show what I am capable of achieving for the next season. What should college coaches know about you? I’m a very hard worker on and off the field. Whatever I try to do, I'm going to give a 101%. I’m a very coachable player and love being pushed pass my limits. I’ll hold myself and teammates to a higher standard and just being an overall great leader. What does football mean to you? Football means everything to me, I’ve been playing the game ever since I was a little kid. It’s always been something I look forward to the most. Just being able to compete every day and see yourself grow and improve as a player/person is an awesome feeling.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
My vision I have on the field. My athleticism allows me to be shifty, making cuts, and fitting through gaps. Growing up I was never the biggest player on the field, so learning to have great field vision helped me a lot.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
I’ve been focusing on my size and speed. Putting on some more weight and gaining more speed will have a huge impact on this upcoming season.
How does Dee-Mack look for the upcoming season?
We have a lot of returning starters but a couple key players are leaving. There are a few spots that need to be filled but I think with the program we have, it’ll be no problem. During this offseason, a lot of our guys are putting in the work to do something great.
Who on Dee-Mack is ready for a breakout season? We have a couple of guys that could have a breakout season but definitely Chuck Hathaway. He is putting in a lot of work and is willing to step up at any position.
