Ryan Calcagno St. Francis DB/WR/ATH Class of 2022 6'3 183

What does football mean to you?
We are a football family. My older brother played at Miami of Ohio. I've learned more about life from football than anything else. It will never be just a game to me football has and will always be the substance of the kind of person I have become.
What is your favorite route to run?
Fade is my favorite route to run but at the end of the day it's
whatever route I need to run to help the team win.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
My strongest trait on the field is my ability to identify where I need
to be on the field, along with my speed and my willingness to come up and make a hit.
How has your summer college camp season been so far?
It has been going great. I just returned home from Lindenwood, I ran
some really good times and was able to compete against some of the
best players in the midwest. The best part is that we had 8 St.
Francis teammates all put the work in to become a better team.
What would you like college coaches to know about you?
Having three siblings that are all division 1 athletes I have learned
that the most important thing is that putting in the work you will see
results that will not only benefit yourself but my teammates around
me. I will play whatever position helps my team win.
How good can this St. Francis squad be for the upcoming season?
I don't think we are going to miss a beat. We are going to reload and
go back to work, at St. Francis our goal isn't to win conference, our
goal is to win state. Our goal is not to be in second place and I
think this year our team has enough potential to achieve that goal.
