Jack Ginnan South Elgin Athlete Class Of 2025 6'0 165

Jack Ginnan how has your first three weeks of the season been? Pretty special as of team I think we came out with something to prove this whole year and we are just getting started. What has been your favorite memory so far this season? Seeing how this team has rallied behind me especially during the first game after my first quarter performance when I broke the school record, especially with all this uncertainty at the QB position. I always had confidence in myself but knowing that I finally got to prove to them that I’m in this with them. What does football mean to you?

It means a lot; it has been in my life for so long and has taught me so much on what it means to have a level head and not let my emotions get the best of me even in times of adversity.

What should college coaches know about you? I’m a great leader on and off the field and my toughness is my best attribute as a quarterback I refuse to quit and give up and I will not stop till the jobs accomplished. I also do a really good job and keeping a level head because I know if I stay calm then my offense will stay calm. Who else on South Elgin is having a breakout season? I feel like a lot of us are coming out with something to prove like Ishmael who has caught 6 TDs already, Lucas Noworol who may not have all the highlight plays but is an incredible hard nose player who you can always count on to make a block. Same with our starting right guard Tommy Roath he’s an absolute tank and I credit a lot of my success to him because he’s the captain of our o-line and we understand each other so well.

What goals do you have for yourself rest of the season? For myself I want to break our school record for passing td and overall td I’m already at 11 passing td and 14 td overall. But more importantly as a team I want to win conference and I believe that we can make a deep playoff run this year.

What game are you most excited for this rest of the season? I mean not underestimating any of our upcoming opponents, but the obvious answer is September 29 home against Glenbard South they have obvious talent across the board but once again we are coming in with something to prove all these upcoming games.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting
