Blake Buckles Rochester OL 6'2 265 Class of 2023

Blake Buckles how was your junior season?
It was overall really good. It was my first year starting and we made it all the way to the state semifinals with our only loss being to an 8A powerhouse
What was one of your favorite memories last season?
My favorite memory from last season was the Chatham game. We went and played there and beat our tough division rival
What does football mean to you?
To me football means going out on the field and giving every ounce of what you have for the teammates and fans that are there with you
What should college coaches know about you?
They should know that I am dedicated and willing to whatever it takes to succeed and help the program
What do you like about playing in the trenches?
What I like about the trenches is it’s all about physicality and who can win each rep. When you can go at it with someone play after play, it never gets old
What game are you most excited to play this upcoming season? By far it is Leonard bowl week 1. Our biggest rivalry game, on the road and it’s the last official one. It should be a great game
