Talking With Richmond Burton Star QB Jacob Huber Class Of 2021

So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for lllinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Jacob Huber how was your 2019 season? It was very good. We won the state championship and dominated most teams throughout the season. I was very happy with how my team and I progressed throughout the year

What would you like college coaches to know about you? Im not the same football player I was last year. My fundamentals have improved tremendously, my understanding of the game and situations is improved, I’ve gained nearly 20 pounds (188lbs right now) in the last 2 and a half months, I’ve become more accurate and a lot more

What do you like about playing QB? I love the challenge and responsibility. I didn’t always, but I’ve grown to like being the person people look to and that came with confidence from experience and I love throwing the ball and making big plays

What do you think is your strongest trait on the football field? Throwing on the run or throwing with anticipation

How does Richmond Burton look for the upcoming season? Great. Even though we lost a lot of seniors we have rosin seniors with a great amount of experience and talent as well as work ethic. The underclass men are just as willing to work to be the best

Thoughts on IHSA Spring Football? I’m hoping we get a fall season instead. I know that the chances are ridiculously low but football in the fall NEEDS to happen. Everyone is taking the precautions needed to play and all other surrounding states are playing. I also feel that kids need to go back to school. But if we do play in the spring I’ll be happy we even get a season. I’m dying to get back on the field and if that’s when it has to be then that’s when I’ll do it

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting But About The Love Of The Game Of IHSA Football

RESPECT THE GAME
