Jackson Torkelson how was your sophomore season?

It went good... I was able to start for half of the season at safety and that was my first-time playing defense ever. Then sadly I ran into an injury, and I wasn’t able to really play in the playoffs, but I was super happy with my team making it to state.

What does football mean to you?

Football to me is everything, it’s my whole life.

What should college coaches know about you?

That l'm a hardworking selfless player who can play anywhere that’s asked.

What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?

That I can play multiple positions and that I will put the team before myself.

What part of your game are you working on in the offseason?

Everything, but mainly the weight room and my foot quickness.

What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season?

To be able to contribute to the team and stay healthy. As a team our goal is to make it to state again and win it this time.

Who is one player on Prairie Ridge that is slated to have breakout season?

I would say Dom Creatore.
