Valentino Gist how is you season going for you so far? It's going pretty well everybody's doing their job, we're doing a pretty good job of staying consistent. We do an excellent job of preparing for every team we play, and we go out and execute What does football mean to you? It means a lot it, plays a very important part in my life. I've been playing for as long as I can remember, it taught me a lot of life lessons and really helps me get my mind off of everything, it's my peace in life. What should college coaches know about you? I stand out from a lot of others, any task you give me ill find a way to get it done I'm a big improviser, I do a great job at making defenses wrong and making individuals wrong, always aware of what's around me. Making sure to know where my checkdowns are and where to throw the ball if stuff goes wrong. I can stretch the field with my strong arm, and I can also get it out quick if there is a defensive breakdown. How good can this Peoria squad be? We can honestly win state this year, we have a really good shot. Everybody on the team is chasing the same goal. Everybody is on task, all that can make us lose right now is ourselves What do you like about playing QB? It requires a lot of attention and focus, kind of like you're the general on the field. You have to know everything and what's going on at all times, the position makes you hold yourself up to a higher level. Who on Peoria is having a breakout season? Ricky Hearn JR, he is a real asset to the team. He can do anything you ask him to do, most definitely can go up and get it, and we’ve been to a lot of camps over the summer. Played some good people during the season and he has been proving everybody why he should be a top receiver.
