Talking With Oak Forest DB Olajuwon Okunoren Class Of 2023

So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Olajuwon Okunoren Oak Forest DB/LB Class Of 2023 5'11 170

Olajuwon Okunoren how was your senior season? My senior season was ok, obviously I wish as a team we went farther but I’m happy with the time that we did get together. What does football mean to you? It really means everything I grew up playing football with my brother and cousins. It became a part of my everyday life. What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know that I’m prepared to do anything to be better at this game that I love. I’m the first guy in, last guy out type of player. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My strongest trait is probably my energy. I’m always excited to be on the field no matter what we could be running sprints and I’ll be happy yelling with my teammates. What do incoming players need to know about this Oak Forest football program? New players should be prepared to work really hard but also, you're going to enjoy every second that you're playing and the brotherhood that you make is going to last.

What schools have you talked to so far? I’ve spoken with Judson University, Rockford University, Roosevelt and Quincy University.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting
