Dane Vance North Mac Athlete Class Of 2024 5'8 140

Dance Vance how was your junior season? It was very exciting, I learned a lot about myself as a player, having 20 seniors in front of me I just focused on getting on the field and doing whatever helps the team succeed. I learned to be very versatile, I returned punts/kicks, played QB, WR, CB and safety throughout the season. Although our season didn’t end the way we planned I’m just looking forward to getting back out there senior year. What was one of your favorite memories last season? The homecoming game against hillsboro which we won 38-0. The environment gave off a playoff atmosphere which in turn caused the entire team to be pumped up. What does football mean to you? The feeling of Friday night lights matches no other sport. The bond created between my teammates and coaches is a feeling that can not be matched.

What should college coaches know about you? I am a student of the game. I have grown up around football and continue to ask questions to learn. I am a hard worker and a competitor. I am selfless, I will do anything to help the team. How does North Mac look for the upcoming season? We lost a lot of seniors so that’s always hard. We have a lot of underclassman that are going to have to step up but with the work ethic that we have I think the season will go well.

Who on North Mac is ready for a breakout season? Jonah Bearden, he will be an upcoming junior. He got some minutes as a sophomore. He is a huge asset to our line playing center/guard.
