Hunter Chamberlain North Boone OL/DT Class Of 2024 6'3 325

Hunter Chamberlain how has your offseason been so far?

So far, my offseason has been pretty eventful. I’ve been going to a lot of camps and working hard in the weight room as well. I’ve especially been having a great time at school with our football camp, I can’t wait to get started this fall!

How was your junior season?

My junior season went pretty well we didn’t make playoffs, but I know we will this year. I had a great time playing with my senior buddies and finishing out their high school football career on a good note. I looked up to them since freshmen year and playing with them was even better I wouldn’t trade anything for it!

What does football mean to you?

Football means everything to me without it I don’t know where I would be I’ve been here laying football for my whole life, and I think it’s helped me grow up and be a better person and more disciplined. Although I got to give credit to my coaches as well!

What should college coaches know about you?

I feel that college coaches should know that I’m a very hard worker, and I want nothing more than to be able to keep playing football in college it would be my dream! And wherever I end up at, I’ll give it my all!

What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?

My strongest trait I feel on the football field is my speed. I feel that for my size me position, I can move fairly fast as well as my ability to read defenses and knowing where they are going.

What do you like about playing in the trenches?

The thing I love most about being in the trenches is how physical it is, and how hard you need to fight to keep your ground. I love everything about it especially the competition I get to go against every game and practice!

What part of your game are you working on in the offseason?

I’m working mostly on learning the new plays my team is introducing to our game. I can’t wait to get them down and use them in game it’s going to be a blast!

What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season?

Some goals I have for myself this next season is to just be the best player and teammate I can be by helping where and when I can. Even just giving some guys rides when they don’t have one as well as working harder at practice than ever before I can’t wait to get my senior season started!

How does North Boone look for the upcoming season?

I think my team has a good season ahead of us not making playoffs hurt us last year. I think this year we are more determined than ever. I can tell by how we’ve been practicing at camp the guys just really have it in them this year.

Who else on North Boone should be on the lookout for this upcoming season?

I can’t go without mentioning my fellow offensive linemen all of them deserve to get a look. They’ve really been working hard this summer and I really do believe that all of us deserve a chance to play at the next level. I love them they are like my brothers it’s never a dull day with them out there by my side!
