Ben Jorczak how was your junior season? It was a very successful season for me and my team. We had great team chemistry, and shaped great future for this upcoming season. What does football mean to you? Football means everything to me. I’ve been playing since I was 5, and I feel that it has benefited me off the field as well. It builds your character and self-discipline, and makes you push yourself past your own limits.
What do you like about playing in the trenches?
The game of football begins in the trenches. That’s where the main battle is. I like the pressure of getting that first push on the line to create opportunities for my teammates to succeed. You become the ultimate team player.
What should college coaches know about you?
I always have the drive to win, no matter the circumstances. I work hard for my team, not just myself. I have great self discipline, as well as the drive to always be better, and improve myself each and everyday.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
My strongest trait on the football field is my leadership abilities. I feel I have to set the tone for my team, and I come out firing the entire game and push my teammates to do the same. I take pride in picking up and motivating my teammates.
Who on Normal West is ready for a breakout season? We have a ton of talent on our team, but if I had to pick someone it would be Trey Frost. His ceiling is through the roof, along with an incredible work ethic. He has the ability to orchestrate another unstoppable defense.
