Dexter Niekamp how was your sophomore season?
My sophomore season was pretty good. Played varsity the whole year. Started half the season. Went undefeated and being conference champs before eventually losing in the second round of the playoffs.
What does football mean to you?
Football is more than just a game to me. Football has been in my life since I was born. It’s a chance to get on the field and show everyone what your made of. Show that your hard work has paid off.
What should college coaches know about you?
That before football is school. That I will work hard in both the classroom and the weight room. I am a competitor in everything I do. I also play three sports. Football, basketball and baseball
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
My high motor on the field. I will never quit on a play. But also, my ability to rush the passer and my speed on the edge.
What part of your game do you plan on working on the offseason?
I plan on getting bigger, faster, stronger. But also, my block shedding on run plays and getting off the ball as fast as I can.
