Richie Szorc how was your 2019 season?
We had a successful team season to going to the playoffs with a great group of leaders above me and losing to the state champ, but otherwise it was good to learn the offensive system and what Notre Dame Varsity Football is all about.
What schools have you talked to so far?
UW Platteville, St. Norberts, Concordia Wisconsin, Knox College, Concordia Chicago,
What would you like college coaches to know about you?
That they are going to get a great leader on and off the field, some one who will put the team first, work extremely hard to get better everyday, and someone who stays focused in the classroom.
What do you like about playing in the trenches?
I like playing in the trenches because I know games can be won or lost up front and usually goes unappreciated but we know that we are the base of a good football team
Thoughts on Spring IHSA Football? Obviously we are all disappointed with not being able to play in the fall like some states, but you really just have to adapt and use it as more time to get better and better, be with your teammates during the 20 day contact session, and be thankful we still get to hopefully have a chance of playing in the spring.
