Charlie Fordon how was your spring season? It went great and it was nice to learn from two of the best linebackers in the state. Looking forward to my senior season. How has your Summer College Camp Season been? I attended my first camp at St. Ambrose yesterday and it was a really fun experience. I am also going to Columbia and Dartmouth camps in mid July. What does football mean to you? To me, football is all about being there for your teammates and playing for the guys next to you. Mount Carmel has really instilled this philosophy in me since my freshman year. Football is really an outlet to set aside everything else and have fun on the field with your brothers. What should college coaches know about you? Coaches should know that I will always be the hardest worker in the room at all times. I will always give 100% effort and be the first to every drill etc. Also, I will always be a great teammate and play for the guys next to me. What do you like about playing linebacker? My favorite thing about playing linebacker is that it’s the most physical position on the field and it also requires a lot of football IQ. Physicality is the name of my game and I always pride myself on being one of the smartest players on the field.
