Talking With Morgan Park Big Man CJ Reed Class Of 2024

So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Craig Reed Jr Morgan Park Class of 2024 OL/DL 6'2 280

CJ Reed how was your sophomore season? It was ok. Felt like it could’ve been better What does football mean to you? I started when I was little and fell in love. But things happen and I had to take a step back. I started back my freshman year. And I really feel back in love with It, means a lot. Gives me a chance to break generational curses. Doing something I love. What should college coaches know about you? Colleges should know I’m a quick learner very coachable, ready to work at all times. And give my all to the best of my abilities every snap What do you like about playing in the trenches? Playing in the trenches got to be the most fun part of football. All type a contact every snap. And it’s just fun to be a bully in there. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I feel my quickness of the ball and just at my size. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I’ve been working on strength and agility. Now I’m getting into steps. And techniques What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season? I plan to play like the best version of myself. To be a problem on both sides of the ball & of course, WIN STATE!!!

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting

But About The Love Of The Game Of IHSA Football
