Gatlin Ford how was your Spring Season? It was great for me and the team. We had some hardships along the way but I’m just glad that we’re all together and better than before. What does football mean to you? It means a lot to me actually. It’s a great outlet for me to get away from a lot of personal stuff I have going on in my life. And it’s also great just to be with the guys and just enjoying every moment I have with them. What should college coaches know about you? I’m a very like I mean very outgoing person. I am also humble to the core and I pick my teammates up or hype them up whenever I get the chance. I don’t like to be average when it comes to character a lot of coach’s I’ve come to find out don’t like that, but I’m okay with that because I know that I’ll find someone who’ll respect who I am and how much I care about my teammates. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? Adapting to adversity. Whenever we get down on the scoreboard or a team scores, fumbles, ect. I try to be the first to keep my teammates heads up and tell them to keep chugging on because no matter the number on the board or how much time is left we still ain’t outta this yet till that buzzer sounds. How does Moline look for the upcoming season? We are gonna make a huge come back. Mark. my. Words for that. Like some coach’s have said we’re “undersized” but we haven’t ever seen that as a problem. Because at the end of the day Moline is about hit them in the mouth football so when we’re lined up against you. We’re coming, this summer with workouts and everything.... A lot of us including the Juniors have gotten so much stronger and I have my most deepest respect for them seeing them grow.
