Santonien Flowers Marist Linebacker Class of 2021 5'10 185

Santonien Flowers how was your 2019 season? My 2019 season was a great season. It taught me so much for it being my first year on varsity. Varsity ball was way faster and I knew that so going into last season I knew I had to play fast and be a student of the game. I also had a lot of fun playing the game I love with my brothers and last season really taught me to trust the process and to continue to work hard. What schools have you talked to so far? I have talked to the University of Indianapolis, Indiana Wesleyan, Northern Michigan, Roosevelt , Wayne State, and North Park What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know that I’m a very hard worker in the weight room, field, and classroom. I’m coachable. I never give up. I’m mentally tough and I give everything I do my all. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My strongest trait on the field is my drive to get better as much as possible and Another thing about me is that I don’t back down from no challenges What do you like about playing on the defense? I like that being on defense we set the tone for the game. I like that being on defense I get to fly around and in the process make plays to stop the offense. Being on defense is really a lot of fun because we get to hit the offense. The last thing about being on defense that I like is that it taught me how to be very aggressive but under control in the process. It also taught me how to be mentally tough and to not dwell on the last play or drive if I made a mistake or something didn’t go our way and to just focus on the next play and give it my all.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting But About The Love Of The Game Of IHSA Football
