Logan Brandt how was your sophomore season?
The Sophomore Season went great! Had lots of opportunities to show who I am as a player and as a teammate. Created many friendships and bonds with the Marian Central Football Team. Looking forward to what the next season brings.
What does football mean to you?
Football means everything. Football builds character and a brotherhood. It teaches hard work, commitment, and integrity. Football is a memory that lasts a lifetime.
What do you like about playing kicker?
Playing kicker is a special position because it’s a skill not many people have. Kickers have a role of perseverance and lots of pressure on them. I love the adrenaline from being a kicker and stepping up for the team. Kicking is an art that takes time to learn. The snap, the hold, and the kick has to be perfect for the ball to sail through the uprights. That’s what I love about it.
What should college coaches know about you?
College coaches should know I am a hardworking and disciplined player. The commitment, the effort, and the ability to grow as a player are some of the traits I possess. I Give it my all every time I step on that field. One heartbeat at a time.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
Strongest trait I have is leadership and grit. I like leading by example and contributing to the team in any way I can.
What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season?
Some goals to strive for is being almost perfect on PAT. Being more accurate. Also kicking a 55 yard field goal and improving leg speed. That is the goal this season.
What is your favorite field to kick on? The home field of course. Friday Night Lights!!! Nothing beats that feeling.
