Tyler Isaacson how was your sophomore season? My sophomore season went great! I started at right tackle on the sophomore team and we went 9-0 and won the CCL blue conference. Then when playoffs came around for varsity, I got called up to help with the scout team and learned a lot form the varsity offensive line. I also learned a lot from being in scout team and got good reps against the 1s and 2s on the varsity defensive line. What does football mean to you? Football is a big part of my life. It has help me be the man I am today it has taught me a lot of lessons that I would not have learned otherwise. I have met many of my close friends from football. I know those guys are my family and I can trust them with my life because I know when it’s time to go out on that field that they will have my back and that they will give it their all.

What do you like about playing in the trenches? Playing in the trenches is awesome. I like how close you are and you know that you are always a crucial part of the play because without doing your job nothing can get done for your team. You know that each play you have a responsibility and that is to either make a whole for the running block or to protect the quarterback and make sure they have enough time to do their job. I also just love the physicality there is never a dull moment in the trenches it is always a battle. What should college coaches know about you? Coaches should know that I am always ready and I will give them everything I have all the time. They should know that I will work hard everyday to get better and that I will always get the job done. We could be losing we could be winning it does not matter I will give it 100% effort and 100% physicality each play. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I am very knowledgeable and I know what people are doing and I can communicate to others what they need to do and what I am doing. Communication is the most important thing on the field especially in the trenches. I can communicate with my teammates very well which has helped on the field so much and makes it easier to get your job done.

What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season? I have many goals for myself but also for my team. I want to have the best season I can, and I know that starts with the off-season. I am working very hard and doing all I can to make myself better and get to where I need to be come summer camp. A goal I have for my team is to win an 8A State Championship. I also to work towards receiving All-Conference and be the best player I can be. Who is the funny guy on the Loyola line? I would say John Dooley. He always knows how to make people laugh by the most random stuff sometimes. Who is the biggest eater on the Loyola line? I would probably have to go with Theo Koulianos. He loves to eat. If there were to be a hot dog eating competition, I think that Theo defiantly would be able to win the competition.
