Trystyn Schacht how was your junior season? My junior season at Iroquois West High School was a great experience. I was able to achieve many goals. For example, I set my PR this year for 1,855 yards in one season and I also rushed for my PR in one game with 300 yards in the first round of playoffs. I also was included in All County, All Conference, and All State Honorable Mention. It was also a great year for me because our team was able to achieve one of our big goals. We were able to end the Raiders 15-year playoffs drought. What does football mean to you? Football means everything to me. It’s more of a lifestyle to me because I’m always thinking about it all year around. Football lights a torch within myself that nothing else can. I’ve loved playing the sport and everything else about the sport since I was a kid. I want to play the football for as long as i possibly can. What should college coaches know about you? First and foremost, I’m very respectful young man and I am someone you can depend on. I’m also a hard worker, tough runner, leader, and team player. I will run through a brick wall for my coach or team at any time. I love the sport so you will never see me giving any less than 200% effort. What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season? I have plenty of goals for myself this upcoming season. My biggest goal for this upcoming season is I’m shooting for 3,000 rushing yards. A couple more goals of mine that I will let you in on is to break my PR for most yards in one game and to reach at least 30 touchdowns. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I would say my strongest trait on the football field is my Desire. I have such a strong desire to keep pushing even when the distance is unknown. I give whatever it takes whenever it is needed. I’m all-in or not at all type of person so when I have a desire to do something I will do whatever it takes to get the job done. Alright the ultimate question.... Who is the biggest eater on the Iroquois West line? I would probably say Clayton Leonard. Between Clayton Leonard, Cannon Leonard, and Mason Miller. They were all pretty outstanding!
