Jake Curry Edwardsville QB Class Of 2024 6'0 185

Jake Curry how was your junior season? It went fairly well. I improved a lot more as a better leader and as well as a better player compared to my sophomore season. I think as a team we all worked are tails off all summer to improve and try to get Edwardsville back to being one of the powerhouse schools in the state. What does football mean to you? Football means a lot to me. I have been playing my whole life. I have made some bonds that will last forever.
What schools have you been talking to so far?
Indiana State, SIU, Northwestern, St. Thomas, Dayton, Holy Cross, UCM.
What should college coaches know about you?
I am a very hardworking kid. I know how to lead a team, and I am also good in the classroom.
What do you like about playing QB?
What I like about playing QB is being able to control the game. I get to play at my pace. But the best part is when I know all five guys in front of me work their tails off to protect me.
What goals do you have for yourself this season?
One of my goals is to lead my team as far as possible. I am trying to work on being the best leader as I possibly can. Another goal I have is to have the best season I possibly can. Most importantly I want to have fun because it is my senior season.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? Being able to read a defense and breakdown a defense. I also have the ability to throw and run.
