Eli Shereshovech how has your season been so far? Great, we’ve definitely been shattering the outside expectations but we have always known what we were capable of What does football mean to you? It’s always been a passion of mine and still is but it’s opened doors that I couldn’t find anywhere else Lifelong friends, great mentors, and now potentially the opportunity for a great education while continuing my football career for 4 more years What do you like about playing on the defensive line? Physicality and I love knowing the impact I have on the outcome of games. Anyone can tell you the battle is won in the trenches. That pressure doesn’t stress me out, it gets me going. Like for example, Hersey didn’t run it up the middle at all against us, on paper it didn’t seem like I made a huge impact with only 2 tackles but I know there is a greater team aspect that’s more than just stats What should college coaches know about you? I want them to know I will make the most out of any and every opportunity given to me, and look forward to those opportunities coming soon What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? Well I’ve been told by countless coaches and scouts that I have a great motor and never quit on a play. I think that’s key to success at the defensive line and I think it shows in my film too - you can see me finish plays across the field to prevent a TD.
