Jack Lausch QB Brother Rice Class of 2022 6'2 180
Jack Lausch how was your 2019 season?
My 2019 Season was a great introduction to varsity football. Playing safety was a blessing in disguise because it taught be to be a much smarter and tougher player. We had a nice run in the playoffs but obviously that wasn’t the goal in mind. Our team is hoping to get a chance to compete for a title this year.
What schools have you talked to so far?
For football I have just had a call or two with Notre Dame, Northwestern; and Stanford. Nothing major.
What would you like college coaches to know about you?
I want college coaches to know that I am a guy who is going to work obsessively hard to win a National Championship.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
Throwing the football. We want to be dominant through the air this year. Along with getting bigger, stronger, faster as usual.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the field?
I think there’s a few. I think my leadership stands out. Also being intelligent and an athlete on the field.
What are your feeling on IHSA Spring Football? Any opportunity to play football is a gift. Obviously I want to play in the fall and go out there and compete with my guys. I really hope we pull off a miracle and do get to play this fall. If we don’t, then spring is a chance to go out there, compete, and try to prove ourselves among the rest of the state.
