Robert Grant how does it feel to the big win over Christ The King? It feels amazing to clinch a playoff spot, the atmosphere was unreal on a Thursday night, that homecoming game was unlike no other. How is your season going so far? It’s going amazing. Tough loss week 4 to Chicago hope by one point but I feel like me and the guys have all the momentum going into week seven versus ACS, which will be a huge game. Then we close the season out with Marian central, which will be also an amazing game. Super proud of this team the way we face adversity and bounce back.
What has been your favorite memory so far this season?
My favorite memory would probably be the trip out to Texas week one with the team or the comeback against Saint Charles east week 2 which we were huge underdogs heading into that game, we were going into that game very confident and wanted to show everyone that we are going to fight no matter who the team is or how big the team is.
What goals do you have for yourself rest of the season?
The main goal for myself is probably to play every play Like it’s my last. I tend to get lazy sometimes when I’m tired but if I can stop that I feel like I can make a lot more plays for me and my team. Also, Win a state championship.
What part of your game do you feel you have most improved from last season?
I feel like my pass rush improved alot since last year, and my physicality. I’ve never felt hungry last year. I just played just to play, but this year I feel like I play with a purpose.
What would be your dream school to play for at the collegiate level? Either the University of Notre Dame or The University of Oregon.
