Michael Nix how was your junior season? As a team we had a tuff year with some big injuries but personally I had a great year ending with team offense player of the year, all conference, and all area. What schools have you been talking to so far? So far the ones I’ve been talking to are NIU, Western Michigan, North Dakota State, South Dakota State, North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois State, Central Michigan, New Hampshire, Western and Eastern Illinois and most of the pioneer league. What should college coaches know about you? That I am considered an elite athlete, a fast, versatile receiver that has great ball skills and good at going up to getting the ball during a contested catch. Also excel in kick and punt returns. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? The part of my game I've been working on in this offseason is increasing my speed and overall agility and I’m playing on a 7v7 team. What excites you the most about this upcoming season? What excites me the most is it being my senior season and by already being selected captain I’m looking forward to becoming more of a leader. I’m also excited about the season because we got some great players and looking to make playoffs. Who on St. Viator is ready to have a breakout season this fall? Linebacker John Kaiser class of 2023 and running back Jake Vanbooven class of 2023.
