Speaking With Waubonsie Valley Defensive Back Joshua Tinney Class Of 2025

So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Joshua Tinney Waubonsie Valley DB/WR Class Of 2025 6'1 175

Joshua TInney how is your season going so far? It’s going pretty good. We are 4-2 . Our goal is to make playoffs and we are one win away, with some big games coming up. What does football mean to you? Football is a big part of my life. I love the competition. I love being around my teammates everyday. What should college coaches know about you? I am a hard worker, even outside of practice. I am very supportive of my teammates. I perform my best in games, and I thrive on going against the best players. I want to play at the next level.

What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My strongest traits are consistency, reading the field, and quickness to the ball. What has been your favorite memory so far this season? My favorite memory from this season so far is everyone dancing in the locker after our big win over Dekalb. Who on Waubonsie Valley is having a breakout season? Tyler Threat has scored so many big touchdowns for us. Bryce Provis is a leader of our defense and has made so many big plays. Owen Roberts is everywhere on the field for us. He is second on the team in tackles and is great in coverage. Chrisjan Simmons is a big play maker and he runs people over for extra yards.

What goals do you have for yourself rest of the season? My goals for the rest of the season are to still be playing in November and to end the season with 5 or more interceptions.
