Luke Johnsen how was your sophomore season?
It was good. Great experience to play with the varsity team. Meant a lot playing under the lights because I’ve been going to the games my whole life and it just felt great being able to play finally.
What does football mean to you?
Football means a lot to me because I get to play with my friends, play in front of a town that I have grown up in, and being coached by my dad and grandpa has been something I have looked forward to since a young age.
What should college coaches know about you? I’m an overall athlete I’ll give 110% on everything I do. I’m coachable and love the game of football. What do you think is your strongest trait on the football field? I can bend as a big guy. And I’m flexible. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I’ve been getting stronger and faster. I’ve been working on offensive line drills. Also have been working on footwork to get faster feet. How does Geneseo look for the upcoming season? I think we could be good. We just got to keep doing our thing and keep getting stronger and faster in the off season. Who on Geneseo is going to have a breakout season this fall? Jaiden Weinzierl.
