So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Marion Bolden how was your junior season? I think my junior season went pretty well with our record being 8-4 including the playoffs. It was my first year on varsity and I was a starter on the defensive side. I think I did pretty well overall, but I also made mistakes like any other player would. I definitely had a lot of things to adjust on so that’s what I’ll be doing during my senior season, working to get better every day. What does football mean to you? Football means a lot of me! Football has made a huge impact on my life and has made a change to it for the good. Football keeps me focused on striving for my goals for my future. Football makes me a better person in the classroom, on the field and even in the outside world. Football means everything to me knowing that I can make an impact for my teammates and make an impact for myself to get better each year. I love the game of football. What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know that I am a very hard worker when it comes to football. If a coach asks me to do something I’m going to do what has to be done. College coaches should know that I work just as hard in the classroom as I do on the field. They should know that I am willing to put in the time and effort to be better and be great. They should know I am a competitor and that I’m always putting in work on and off the field, whether it’s during the football season or during the offseason. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My speed is one of my strongest traits What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I’ve mainly been working on my breakout speed, hand eye coordination and strength What goals do you have for yourself this season? My goals for the season is to build more chemistry with my teammates and I want to be the best player I can and be named all city.
