Cale Ledergerber how was your junior season? It was pretty good, we made it all the way to the quarterfinals, and I put up some good stats on the year. What does football mean to you? Its been a way to just get away from anything goin on in life at the time and you can just go out there and be yourself. Its also been a way to meet a lot of new people and learn a lot of new things and become a better person What should college coaches know about you? I am a very versatile player and I can play both sides of the ball. I’m willing to be coached, I have a great work ethic and I’m not afraid of competition.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
I’m a good leader and I will always make sure everyone on my team keeps their heads up. I will always get my guys hyped up. I am a playmaker, and I can help keep my team in close games.
How does Sterling look for the upcoming season?
We look like a team that will compete in the WB6 even after losing a good amount of our starters and hopefully make another good playoff run.
Who do you think on Sterling is ready for a breakout season?
I would say either myself or Mason Emin because this year. I am switching positions to play QB, and he is a really good WR who played really well last season while he was able to play on our offense after missing a couple weeks due to a hand injury.
What goals do you have for yourself this season? I would like to become an all-conference player, work on my defensive skillset, make it deep into the playoffs, get into the eyes of college coaches and gain their interest.
