So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell
Patrick Bauer how was your junior season? It wasn’t exactly what I had planned for. I had to deal with messed up hamstrings throughout the season which slowed me down and didn’t allow me to play on the level I wanted to.What was one of your favorite memories last season?
One of my favorite memories from last season was getting hyped in the locker room with all my teammates pregame. Dancing and singing throughout the locker room is the one the best feeling in the world. What teams have you talked to so far?I’ve talked to Valpo, Drake, Upper Iowa, Illinois Wesleyan, Ripon, and St. Norbert’s.What should college coaches know about you?College coaches should know that I can play anywhere on the football field and that I’m a super explosive and physical player. I run crisp routes and can go up and get the football during contested catches. I won’t back down to anything and will work my butt off to achieve my goals. What does St. Viator need to do to get in the playoffs this fall?We need to go hard in camp right away and can’t be lazy. We have to compete with not just each other but with ourselves to make the team strong. Our offense has a lot of return starters which awesome but our defense is almost brand new with only a few returning players so we will have to learn to jell together during the off-season to be playoff contenders. During the season we are going to have to win the big games if we want to make the playoffs. What does your college camp season look like?I want to go to as many camps in the Midwest as possible to get a ton of exposure. A few I’m going to are Drake, Valpo, North Central, Illinois state, Butler, Northwestern, and Rise and Fire.
