So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Brenan Richardson Salem OL Class Of 2024 6'3 245

Brenan Richardson how is your offseason going so far? It’s been good, trying to build strength and speed while starting my recruiting but mainly focusing on the gym. How was your junior season? It wasn’t how we planned but the team was young and took strives in the right direction for next year. What does football mean to you? It means everything to me. It’s a place to release stress and just have fun. Football also gives me a place to compete and something to look forward to. What do you like about playing in the trenches? To the average spectator the job doesn’t seem to have much importance, but to anyone who knows football they know that the game is usually won or lost up front.

What should college coaches know about you? I’m very competitive and try to win in everything. No matter how my personal play went in the game it only matters how the team does as a whole to me. How does Salem look for the upcoming season? We look good we have a lot of seniors coming back with lots of varsity experience like Sam Greene, Caleb Smith, Connor Tennyson, and Chandler Sill. We also have a lot of juniors with a year of experience under their belt last year. We look good for next year with a lot of our guys committed to the process it takes to win.

What goals do you have for yourself this season? I’d like to make all-conference, as well as make the playoffs and be the best leader I can be.
