Anthony Pickens Oak Forest WR/DB Class Of 2023 6'1 168
Anthony Pickens how is your season so far? As a team, I feel like all the guys are really playing together as 1 and we’re getting to that next step, and I’m really excited for the remainder of the season. Individually I’ve really improved from last season, and I’ve definitely seen a big growth in my game on both sides of the ball. What has been your favorite memory so far this season? Definitely my one-handed catch in the back of the end zone against TF South. What does football mean to you? Always when I was younger it was a way to just spend time with my dad watching the games, but once I got into high school it just become a lifestyle it means everything to me. What should college coaches know about you? Coaches should know that I’m always willing to get better I’m never satisfied with where I’m at, and I always strive to be the best athlete and person I can be. Who on Oak Forest is having a breakout season? Adam Richter, a defensive lineman who’s just been causing chaos up to front all year. What do incoming freshmen players need to know about this Oak Forest football program? All incoming freshmen should know that this isn’t the same old Oak Forest you’ve always heard about. There’s a huge culture change and all of the coaches are hungry to put us back on the map.
