Nathaniel Henderson how was your junior season? My junior season was a step up from my sophomore year, I found out what I could contribute to the team. We made playoffs this season, but it would be ideal to go further than just the first round. What does football mean to you? Football has become a sport that I’ve grown to love, given that I didn’t start playing until my freshman year of high school. With me having always being bigger my whole life, I’ve always been told that I should do football, and I definitely don’t regret trying the sport out.
What should college coaches know about you?
That I’m a WE guy instead of a ME guy. I do whatever is needed for my team to get the win. Being all about the team and not just myself is something all of my coaches preach
What do you like about playing in the trenches?
Knocking down my opponent and doing it again, again, and again. I love the contact. Even though us bigs don’t get much love I like to believe that everything starts with the guys up front
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
My ability to communicate and make changes whenever the defense tries to switch things up. Me and the other 4 Offensive linemen have our custom communications we use with each other that helps us let each other know what someone sees.
What schools have you talked to so far?
I’ve been in contact with Drake University, Upper Iowa University, and Carrol University so far.
What game are you more excited for this upcoming season? Bremen, they are our district rivals, and we have a trophy we play for every year.
