Lawson Grier how was your junior season? It was great I came out strong and I’m ready for this years season and im gonna put the work in as a senior! What does football mean to you? Football means a lot to me. Not only just the games itself but the people I’m surrounded by, knowing they have my back. Football means hard work and dedication and knowing that putting the working in will give you results and that’s a lesson for life. I’ve never taken football with a grain of salt but a ocean. I think about football every day because it means so much and I will never take it for granted, because of how much it’s taught me this far already.
What should college coaches know about you?
I’m a hard worker and ready to put the work in. I’m reliable. You can trust that on each play no matter what, and each day I’ll put the time and effort in to be better even if it is just by a little, not just because I have to but I want to.
What do you like about playing in the trenches?
Making that crazy play in the back field on the first few plays and getting the team hyped up. D-line is simple but not easy and you have to have a certain drive and I love it a lot. Especially going up against the biggest guy and giving him a challenge!
What are your goals for the upcoming season?
Do as much as I can for the team whether it’s in practice or game and show out as best I can and prove myself this season.
How good can this Huskie defensive line be for the upcoming season? Super good maybe the best we’ve ever had I believe. Everyone’s just got to give 110% on and off the field.
