Nick Zbylut Naperville Central Athlete Class Of 2025 6'0 175

Nick Zbylut how was your sophomore season? It’s was good, I was playing cornerback which was a new position for me on varsity and it was very nerve wracking, but as time went on I got used to playing on the defensive side of the ball. What does football mean to you? I have played my whole life, and it has just become a part of me. Football is more than a sport to me and it has played a pivotal role in my life not only on, but off the field as well. What should college coaches know about you? I am willing to do whatever is necessary for the betterment of the team. Being a team player is one of my strong suits, and I believe good team chemistry can go a long way.

What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My overall IQ of the game is one of my strong suits. Knowing what’s going on, and being able read the opposing team. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? A lot of what I’ve been working on has been speed and change of direction. I am also playing 7on7. What goals do you have for yourself this season? My goal is to leave everything on the field this season. I know how bad our seniors want it and I know how bad my coaches want it. It is up to me and my team to fulfill our goal of winning a state title.

What game are you most excited for this upcoming season? I cant wait to play Naperville North. Something about playing a crosstown game makes it 10x more intense along with the electricity from the fans. They have good talent and so do we. it’ll be an intense week from practice on Monday, all the way up until game time on Friday night.
