Alex Gorbenko how does it feel getting the first win? It feels great, this is what our teams been preparing for since morning lifts starting all the back in january, and through out the entire summer during summer camp, the teams put a lot hard work and dedication into this off season and it feels great seeing it all payoff when game time rolls around. What impressed you the most with your team's win friday? I would say our attitude, we never gave up and our dedication and pursuit to the ball was the same throughout all 4 quarters of the game. What should college coaches know about you? They should know that I have a great work ethic and that I have a lot to bring to the table including my athleticism, my sportsmanship on and off the field, my dedication to this sport, and my ability to see the field from all angles.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
My strongest trait is to still be able to perform under great amount of pressure, and to do exactly what i’m told to do.
How good can this Maine West team be for the rest of the season?
We can be phenomenal! we have the ability to be conference champs and excel throughout the playoffs.
