Timotei Dan Lake Forest Linebacker/FB Class Of 2024 5'11 205
Timotei Dan how is your summer going so far? My Summer is going well! Getting things done at work, in the weight room, and attending some football camps. How was your sophomore season? My sophomore season was a great experience playing up on varsity and contributing to the team. It was fun to play at a faster pace, and to bond with my teammates throughout the season. What does football mean to you? Football to me is grit and tenacity, along with the important aspect of teamwork. Mostly, though, it’s just a fun game that I love to play.
What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know that I’m a guy of high virtue. My faith comes first, and then everything follows. What do you like about playing linebacker? I like playing linebacker because it is a physical and versatile position. I also like that the linebackers play an important role as the leaders of the defense… when things get tough, the defense will look to the linebacker, which I think is pretty cool.
What goals do you have for yourself this season? This season I want to mostly improve fundamentally at linebacker, making sure my technique is sound. I also would like to increase my versatility and play on offense as well, most likely at fullback.
