Kingston Dunagan Joliet Catholic Linebacker Class Of 2026 5'11 205
Kingston Dunagan how is your season going so far? My seasons going great. I transferred over from Mount Carmel to Joliet Catholic Academy during the summer, so I am still getting used to the playbook and my new adjustments. But I'm still playing my game and trying to help my team win every week. What does football mean to you? Football is more than a sport to me. I look at football as my escape from the reality. Football is where I can be myself and express myself. It's also taught me life values like Integrity, Courage, Leadership, and accountability. What should college coaches know about you? I’m a hard worker and I'll do whatever to make myself and the people around me better. I'm also a great leader and I hold myself accountable for my mistakes. Another thing is I am coachable I'm always ready to learn and grow as a person and player.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
My strongest trait is reading the field. I would say I have a higher IQ than other players at my age. I'm also good at making opportunities for my teammates to make plays.
What do you like about playing on the defense?
The physicality part of playing defense is what I love most. I also love being the voice of the defense at linebacker and making changes to the defense when they need to be made.
What goals do you have for yourself rest of the season? Some goals I have for the rest of the season is to read my keys better so I can make more plays. Be a leader on and off the field and push myself and my teammates to strive to be better.
