Caden Phengkeokaisone Montini Linebacker Class Of 2023 6'0 215
Caden Phengkeokalsone welcome back... How is your season going for you so far?
The season has been going well. I’m having a great season making some plays. As a team we are trying to finish strong at 5-4.
What has been your favorite memory so far this season?
I think so far, my favorite memory is when we went to Marmion and got a big win. We played together as a team and played one of are best games as a team both offensively and defensively.
What schools have you been talking to so far?
Upper Iowa, Ball State, Lake Forest, USF
What part of your game do you feel you have improved on from last season?
I focused a lot in the off-season on using my hands and being more efficient with getting off of blocks and that’s what I feel like I have improved on most this season.
Who on Montini is having a breakout season?
We got a lot of young guys at key positions. Brian (BJ) Searcy is having a big year as a sophomore wide receiver making a bunch of plays. Alex Marre is the real deal. Coming off a broken ankle last year I’ve never seen someone work to get back even better than before. He Carries a big load of the offense and whatever is asked of him he does.
What do incoming Bronco players need to know about this Montini football program? I would tell incoming bronco players that when coming to Montini you come to play some of the best teams in the state every week in the Chicago Catholic league. Also, the staff and program not only care about making you the best football player you can be, but also care about who you are off the field. Teaching you to become successful in life after football.
