Jesse Palomar how is your summer going so far? It’s going good... I think I improved more this year. How was your sophomore season? My sophomore season was good I played varsity. What was one of your favorite memories of the season? My favorite memory of the season is when I played my first varsity game against Minooka High School. Stopped the running back from getting the first down on 4th and one.
What does football mean to you? Football is my way out of reality, football is something that I can always have ether to watch, play, or coach football. Football is something I can always have by my side. What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know I give 100% every play and I am always at the ball. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I’ve been working on my speed and strength. I’ve been training 4 days a week since wrestling season ended. Also had a very good year of 7v7 I’m ready to give my all this season. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My strongest trait on the football field is my determination and hustle to the ball, and I have a very strong football IQ I’ve been playing football since I was five.
What goals do you have for yourself this season?
My goal this season is to help my team make the playoffs, lead my team in tackles and make all-conference as a junior
What position do you feel most comfortable at? I feel the most comfortable at middle linebacker.
