Landon Newby-Holesome how was your junior season?
My junior season was nothing short of spectacular... I learned lots, made some great plays and had a blast out on the field and got to play the game I love.
What should college coaches know about you?
I'm the most physical gritty player you will meet. I work my but off in the classroom and on the field. I love the weight room. I'll be any coaches hardest working player and that I really love the game of football
What does football mean to you?
Football means a way of life to me. It means getting to put everything on the line and go to war with my boys on the field. It means making my loved ones proud
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
I think I would have to say just my ability to make a play. For instance, as a fullback getting a key block and as a defensive lineman getting tackles for loss and sacks and shutting down drives.
What do you like about playing in the trenches?
Well, as I said before I'm very physical, so I love that I'm able to be physical and gritty every play all the time and I'm not one for the limelight. I don't need all the attention I just love playing ball
What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season? Honestly to prove I am one of the best athletes and football players in Illinois and to have a great senior campaign with my teammates
